Great Smoky Mountain National Park, TN

A coworker and I visited the Great Smoky Mountain National Park recently; this was my first time to visit the park and really pay attention (the first time was on my honeymoon). We first went to Cades Cove, then to Laurel Falls, then to the Roaring Fork Motor Trail area, and back to Chattanooga. Unfortunately, the fall colors were still a little drab and/or early. At any rate, though, the Smokies were beautiful, especially around the Roaring Fork area, where old growth forest abounded.
